INTERMEDIATE FULL DAY SKI LESSONS
Intermediate Level Description (I)
Intermediate 1 – Ski Level
Ability to turn, stop and control your speed on blue slopes.
Intermediate 2 – Ski level
Can turn sometimes parralel. Confident on easy red in good conditions.

The MontFort Swiss Lodge is located in le Châble in the same building as the ski lift.
This is a very convenient place to stay. You have different rooms from 4 to 6 beds. You can also ask for a single or a double room (+ 45 CHF extra). By default rooms are not mixed, but if you are a group, you can ask to be in the same room.
You are connected to Verbier in 7 minutes with the cabin from 7 am to 7:30 pm. From 7:30 pm to 00:30 am you have 5 buses connecting Verbier to your lodge (25 minutes). For later nights, you also have taxis which can take up to 4 people (for 70 CHF in total). If you are more than 4 it costs + 10 CHF extra per pers. (from 5 to 8 pers).

ADVANCED FULL DAY SKI LESSONS
Advanced Level Description (A)
Advanced 1 – Ski Level
Ski in parrallel, confident on all red slopes and easy black slopes.
Advanced 2 – Ski level
Ski black runs. But might struggle a bit when it gets bumpy, steeper, icy or the snow gets deep.

EXPERT / OFF-PISTE CLINIC
Expert Level Description (E)
You can ski everywhere with or without style. Discover amazing off-piste outside the classic itineraries. Learn about security. Improve your technic and get more fun. Off-piste security gear recommended or required. Possibility to rent it in any sport shop.

Beginners Semi-Private Half-Day Ski Course
189 CHF with ski pass
For complete beginners or for participants who are not yet able to turn, control their speed and stop properly on blue runs. Otherwise, you are free to join the Adults Group Lessons, level Intermediate 1.
- Half- day (From 09:45-12:45 for full begginer and 13:30-16:30)

3 days before your class – you will get a SMS with all the information you need such as:
– Mobile number of your instructor.
– Phone number for general enquiries
– Ski pass to buy : we will let you know the best value ski pass you should buy given the snow conditions, the weather forecast and of course your class level.
-Train schedule and other transport facilities available.
Time and Place of Meeting
- 09:45 in Le Chable in an area of 100 meter square you have the train Station, the Parking, the Telecabin and a ski shop. You will receive by sms a picture where exactly you will meet 3 days before the event.
- For participants who sleep in Verbier, you can arrange more convenient place of meeting directly with your instructor.
Schedule of the event
08:30- 09:30: Instructors will be available to help you with renting equipment and to buy ski passes.
09:45: meeting in le Châble train station/parking/ski shop/telecabin station (you will receive by sms a picture of the exact place you will meet with your instructor). Other places of meeting can be arranged later that 09:45 directly with your instructor.
16:30 After ski (drinks not included). Ski instructors will usually be available until 6 pm to help you or inform you with ski rental, transport, etc.
Breaks and Lunch break
Breaks during the day – the instructor will suggest some breaks during the day, but don’t hesistate to ask to take a break if needed. If one participant or more doesn’t want to stop the instructor will carry on with this participant while the others are taking a break. There are some sunny terraces that great memories are made of.
Lunch break – Your instructor will present the best options for the lunch break given the weather conditions.The instructor will stay with you during the lunch break. The usual lunch-time is around one hour, but you ask your instructor to make it less. The instructor is allowed a minimum of 30 minutes break.
If you are on a budget, it could be wise to get a water bottle with you for the day. You are also free to take some food with you if you don’t mind eating outside or in a separate area.
Courses Dates
The courses are available on some specific Saturdays and Sundays during the entire season. You will be able to select dates available during the booking process. We recommend to attend classes early in the season in order to be able to join intermediate adults groups later in the season.
We recommend to book as soon as possible and as early as possible in the season. The dates displayed during the booking process are the remaining availabilities up to the beginning of February. When booking are completed new dates will be displayed for the rest of the season in February, March and April. If you own a coupon or a gift voucher, you will be informed when the new dates will be displayed.
After 2 full days of proper teaching, more than 60% of the students should be able to attend an intermediate group.
Cancellation & Rebooking
The only way to cancel your booking is by contacting directly PSS Verbier indicating your name, the date of the event and the type of event (such as “adult group class level intermediate 1”), check the dates still available for your level and indicate the date you would like te rebooking to be done.
You can cancel your booking for this product up to a minimum of 72 hours prior the beginning of the event for free. There won’t be any other reimbursement in other cases.
Instructors Trainings
189 CHF
- Full Day (09:45 – 16:30)
- Group averaging 5 participants (3 to 8)
- Supervised by an instructors’ trainer and examiner
- After-ski session from 16:45 (drinks not included)
- Course will be in english and in french
Expert – Ski Level
Ability to ski everywhere. First step to join the ski instructors level. The program might slightly vary depending on weather conditions it will be an introduction to the ski instructor technical training: basic technic for off-piste, carving & extreme carving turns, advanced technic for moguls and off-piste, advanced variations of short turns, key movements for any turn: switch turns and steep slopes.
Ski instructors Technical Training – 450 for 6 days
The candidates for this training must apply first to one sessions with the expert ski level. Once you have attended at least one day with the expert level, you could be invited to attend the instructors technical training from mid-january.
Instructors training will take places during March and April 2017/2018 during 2*3 days (6 days for only 450 CHF)
